Made in Scotland

Made in Scotland is a curated showcase promoting high quality dance, theatre and music to international promoters at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It is a partnership between Creative Scotland, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, the Federation of Scottish Theatre (FST) and the Scottish Music Centre (SMC). Made in Scotland is supported through the Scottish Government’s Edinburgh Festivals Expo Fund.

The purpose of Made in Scotland is to raise the international profile of Scottish artists through the promotion of Scottish work at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

A programme of training and advice is provided to enable selected artists and companies to prepare for participation in Made in Scotland, supporting them to achieve their goals, including profile and touring opportunities. Funding is also available to enable Scottish dance and theatre companies and artists to take up international touring as a direct result of performances at the Fringe.
